Our mission is to serve the North Carolina community and across the country in our unwavering commitment to CHAMPION wholistic eudaimonia. Through the transformative potential of plants, herbs, and herbal medicine, our apothecary serves as a sanctuary for wholistic healing. We are dedicated to herbal education, providing natural birth support, fostering community outreach, and advocating for Black wellness.

Meet Founder and Chief Executive Officer!

A North Carolina native, Red, graduated from Hampton University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 2019. She studied Biology Pre-Med in hopes of one day attending medical school. After working as a technician in the Emergency Department for some time, she learned that medical school wasn’t her life’s purpose. Red then decided to look at medicine from a wholistic standpoint, focusing on how to heal the human body with Mother Earth’s resources. After experiencing an all-natural at-home water birth with her first-born son, Six, she began studying African American herbalism, human sciences including birth and postpartum Doula support, phytopharmacology, African spirituality, and much more! As a perpetual student, Red is cultivating a Black-Owned Apothecary to hold space for wholistic healing through herbal education, natural birth support, community outreach and advocacy for Black wellness.
